Almost the end of OJT

Tomorrow will be the end of my ojt... i haven't been posting anything after the first few days due to the busy schedule.. D:

I've learned so much in this ojt ^_^ and it's about to end..

i haven't spent my summer yet.. D: huhuhu.. but we have tried the white water rafting last week with sir owie.. the water was awesome... <3 we swam through the still water of the river.. XD it was fun. ^_^

Today afternoon and tomorrow will be the code review for the teachers... after that, bye bye iligan :-h

Day 3 & 4

I have been busy checking the exercises of the teachers so i wasn't able to post yesterday... :(

Java fundamentals, control structures, etc.. were discussed and the teachers were ask to perform some exercises... which i was busy checking yesterday... hehe.. it was nice teaching some of the teachers what to do.. ^_^ i've been wanting to try teaching students on programming.. but i've never imagined teaching teachers.. XD hehe..

They had a quiz this day and only 4 passed out of 13.., i hope their performance would be better next time.. and some others to catch up on their exercises..

I just got in my room an hour ago.., we were invited to dinner by dr. lagare and their chancellor was there and some other important people.. the food was delicious.. :) i didn't imagine iligan had fancy restaurants.. hehe.. XD hmm we're thiking of touring if we have time.. ^_^

yey... tomorrow is friday.. i get to go home.. sadly i want to go to ma. christina falls this saturday..., i would've wanted to go with the teachers.. i can't decide.., but i need to go home.. ;_;

DAY 2

In Day 2, an early surprised test was given.. and then the discussion about UML

The professors were asked to make their design by using paper, strings, and tape. They were divided into 2 groups.. Both groups discussed on what to do with the student enrollment situation.., after that they used the materials on making their design..

After that they defended their designs, and Sir Owie ask some questions and added comments.

In the afternoon their designs were placed in the jude program, and were ask to be submmited before 4:30pm. Sir Owie then discussed about Java fundamentals.

I was given a problem on putting 2 .txt file with strings in them.., and combine them. which i just finished recently.. ^_^

Sir Owie told me he'd ping me if we're going to continue on lecturing and checking the papers of the teachers... but i guess he's asleep.. XD hehe.. he didn't have enough sleep throughout the week... x_x

i just noticed the time set for the past few blogs are not set properly D:

DAY 1

Yesterday at 6pm i got back here in Iligan.. my head is going bonkers in traveling in bumpy rides.. ~_~

Today sir Owie discussed about module 1 which was about OOP, Interfaces, Abstraction, Encapsulation, Polymorphism, etc.. we had exercises about objects and we even compiled a program using notepad and the cmd.. XD hehe.. there was trouble in compiling but we saw through what was missing.. (classpath=.;) so as a remembrance in compiling in the notepad again.. XD (we skip through day 2 and went to day 3)

the night after the teachers' training, he discussed the day 5 slides.. and ended at 9pm.. my eyes are really tired.. x_x

OJT with Orange and Bronze in MSU-IIT

We've arrived in Iligan on April 7. We were picked up by one of the instructors in MSU-IIT. I unpacked my things in the hostel in the school. (my room 04)

It's nice here.. I have my own bed, tv, window, door(lol), heater, air-con.., and my mirror and cabinet ---------------hehe------------>
We can even use the microwave & fridge. :D (sweet)

So far it's been fun... even though it's tiring sometimes... at least i learned a lot from my trainer.. :)

So far i've been asked to compare numbers, sort words alphabetically, some others I forgot.. x_x the exercises seem fun and are really time driven... :( i like being pressured but too much will cause me to malfunction ... lol XD

Tomorrow i'll be going home and will be back by Monday..

I just hope I can cope up with my training... ^^;

Finished: Random Bucket Sort

It's like bucket sort but the idea is to randomly select the numbers and putting them to buckets..

suppose you have the numbers 8 5 4 7 2 9 5 8

the first number is randomly selected and placed into its number bucket so there are no comparison involved.. ^_^

for example the random index chosen is 7 so 5 is chosen and is placed in the number 5 bucket..

and so on and so forth..
